Difficult to make a direct comparison between Beckham and Ward-Prowse free kicks.

Obvs Man U will have had much more of the ball and spent more time in attacking positions than Southampton.

Be interesting to compare their conversion rates.

On another note I do think Beckham is somewhat underrated as a player to his celebrity.

Not even close. He has 36 PL goals including 10 pens, so a maximum of 26 goals from outside the box. According to a 2017 article that I have not fact-checked, Shearer, Beckham, Gerrard, JFH and Lampard were the top 5, all with at least 33 goals outside the box and Lampard on top with 41.

Good fact-checking skills, but I meant current EPL players - it was mentioned on MOTD, or Sky, or something.

Definitely underrated as a player in my opinion. His record and the club's he's played for speak for themselves.
