Warnock rant about the changing rooms

I bet they would if Barca said you'll be changing in a portakabin in the car park.

NW is also moaning about there not being sufficient room to social distance within the changing room, again you think they would've checked room capacities before bringing everyone in.

So they told them they would be changing in a portakabin, but we still didn't send a crack team to check it out ?

Either the changing rooms were up to the designated standards, in which case Warnock has nothing to complain about, or Stoke have broken the rules and they will get punished accordingly.

To suggest this is somehow MFC's fault for not checking out what should be up to standard changing facilities is just looking for a stick to beat the club with.

I think Warnock is completely right to publicly call out Stoke if the facilities for our players weren’t up to standard.

This business of sour grapes and stop making excuses is not relevant.

If Stoke can’t be professional then they deserve to be called out regardless of the result.

We should welcome Stoke with warm, well maintained, clean changing rooms in the manner that you would expect from a professional organisation.
I`de be tempted to light a few hexy - blocks before they arrived and turn off the air conditioning!;)

If they cant provide proppa facilities during a world - wide pandemic, it says little about their professionalism or respect for peoples lives.

It is wrong like. I am glad Warnock has mentioned it as it’s actually went a bit viral on social media. But the cynic in me wonders if he had done had we got a result? Anyway that doesn’t matter, he’s rightly highlighted it and it’s made the mainstream media. Disgraceful from Stoke City.

Or respect for themselves and their reputation.

Most clubs have a pride in their stadium and facilities, it’s a bit low life to go on like this in the Championship. We don’t know if it was deliberate or just poor maintenance.

Yes they did. All clubs have to provide a Covid plan for each match & send it to the away team at least 24 hours before the game.

Amateurish behaviour from the club there.

When I played Sunday league more than one manager checked out the facilities provided by the home team beforehand, advised us whether we met at the ground & got changed or turned up ready to play.

Can't believe Boro couldn't have sent someone along an hour early to see what was what.
So we should send someone down before the team sets off to check if the changing rooms are full of dirty todds or not? Surely in the championship you would expect a minimum standard instead of having to resort to Amateurish pre match checks to see if we have to get changed in the car park or not.

I've often wondered why away teams can't simply be given the right to chose which changing room they'll have. That should ensure parity. Or short of that, toss a coin.

Boro’s away dressing room is designed to feel uncomfortable. An L shape. The team can’t all see one another. Manager can’t see everyone. That was done on purpose.

Just read this thread on the Mackem board. Stoke fan on there not happy that we injured their 3 key players.

Saw loads on Twitter about us being a dirty side and injuring their players. Apart from them all being clearly accidental, there is some irony about being called a dirty side by Stoke
