Think you may find he praised steve gibson........Didn’t take long for the bad mouthing to start, thought he loved Steve Gibson.
He’ll be on Talksport within the next couple of days slagging everybody off, players, chairman, staff (except his 2 lardarse assistants), fans.
He wouldn't have been allowed to be involved. The agreement from Norwich would have been to make sure he didn't start in that transfer window as he'd have had knowledge of their moves. He'd have been barred from starting work anywhere else until after that transfer window took place.I think the agreement with Norwich was that he couldn't be officially appointed till after the transfer window. But we knew he was starting for months, I find it utterly unbelievable that he hasn't been involved in identifying players behind the scenes.
Yes - your point being?Do you go to games?
So Neil may replace Jeff then ?Even after he’s been sacked, the press are still scared to question his results and awful football. They just let him give excuse after excuse and blame everyone but himself.
No doubt he’ll be on the phone to his pals Jim White and Simon Jordan on Monday, probably be on Soccer Saturday next week.
I disagree with the last part.
My take was he was blaming the head of recruitment for the issues.
If you mean Kieran Scott, then he is not Head of Recruitment he's Head of Football.Yes he did.
But he also said the only one supporting him was Steve Gibson. The head of recruitment has been in for a few months now.
Like I said WE never sack our manager it’s always by mutual consent, except of course monk who we did very publicly SACK.Sounds like he was told he was leaving by mutual consent
Clinton Morrison hopefullySo Neil may replace Jeff then ?
Yes, got his job title wrong. If you mean Kieran Scott, then he is not Head of Recruitment he's Head of Football.
Besides, he only started his employment with the cub the day after the transfer window closed.
Yes I agree with that. But Warnock's criticism was about transfers so he could only have been referring to Bauser and the others in the recruitment/scouting departmant.Yes, got his job title wrong.
The point that he says only Gibson was supporting him still relevant though.
how many players did he sign in the the summer?I think there's a bit of truth in his comments, but mixed with a healthy dose of revisionism.
He was effectively a dead man walking, given he was going in the summer, so it made no sense to go all in on supporting his own signings.
As it was he did pretty well given the quality and number of signings made this year, but he couldn't get a tune out of them and we've looked unbalanced, disjointed and unorganised for a while.
So whilst I have a little sympathy with him, it's nowhere near that which he suggests is due.
Only because we didn’t have to pay him offLike I said WE never sack our manager it’s always by mutual consent, except of course monk who we did very publicly SACK.
The location is by far the biggest factor. Most players will choose another club over one in the North East. That's why Boro, Newcastle and Sunderland miss out regularly on first choice targets and end up paying massive wages to second or third choice targets.I just can't believe we're utterly incompetent, I'm pretty sure there's a number of issues that add up to us delaying things and missing out on signings. Our location, or financial situation, Gibbo himself, possibly Bausor too.
Being abruptly told you're leaving doesn't sound particularly like a mutual decision, whatever the official line is.Like I said WE never sack our manager it’s always by mutual consent, except of course monk who we did very publicly SACK.
That's up for debate, but maybe Crooks, Ikpeazu, Bamba, Peltier, at least.how many players did he sign in the the summer?
