I found this one a little odd. As uche is absolute beast of a physique.

Asked his thoughts on January, Warnock said: “I want another physical striker. Uche wasn’t supposed to be my number one striker if I’m honest.

Wouldn’t be surprised if that’s mind games.
 
He's an absolute dinosaur.

Some of his comments are ridiculous.

“I want another physical striker. Uche wasn’t supposed to be my number one striker if I’m honest."

“And I don’t just want foreign targets, I want English targets as well, or Great British.”

He's repeatedly said he wasn't his first choice striker since signing though, which a bizarre thing to do as it surely won't motivate him.

Or it could motivate him to be determined to prove that he is the number one striker at the club.
 
Did he says he's not strong enough? He just said he needs back up and he's not first choice when signed. Think that's fair as only scored 6 last season.

I wonder if we will go for Smith at Rotherham. Last 6 months of contract and banging them in this season. Linked loads and maybe a mate of Crooks....they linked up well last season. Surely less than 1mil.

I think he's talking about the physical type. We lose Uche and we don't have a like for like (Coburn may change that).

I imagine he wants an old 'war horse' type. You wouldn't want to spend much as the new gaffer probably wouldn't want a 30year old + target man.

I'm tall but I'm not really built like a brick outhouse. And centre forward isn't really my position. But I'm stronger than I look. And I'd play for nothing. Wouldn't cost the club a penny.
 
I think Uche is a great signing - he has good feet - looks like he shouldnt be able to control well because of his size.
He started well but i get the feeling the managers lack of confidence in him has had as much an impact as anything else.
If I am being honest. ;)
