Watford, West Brom and Norwich

Preston worry me. They have the momentum and although we beat them comfortably at the Riverside, going into the playoffs with that momentum (should they qualify) could prove vital.

Still think Sunderland have a chance as well. They have to play Preston and WBA away which will be tough but their home games look very winnable.

Unfortunately for them it’s the home games that’s the problem. They could end up winning them 2 away games you mention and struggling in the home games

Preston have won 3 games against teams you would absolutely expect them too. They will be nowhere near.
Watford have a very easy run in. If they click 5 wins would not be beyond them
Blackburn have an awful run-in. Their last 5 games are Coventry, Preston, Burnley, Luton, Millwall. Win them 5 they are favourites for the play-offs. I suspect they will not.

Yeah I've just checked. Didn't realise their home form was so poor.

I think our results are really hard to predict. I thought we clicked again a bit 2nd half yesterday. Maybe the players just woke themselves up.

The first 30 mins on Friday will be very telling I think. If we can keep it tight and not let stupid goals in we could turn the corner again.

We as fans have our part to play. Like Burnley last night, our atmosphere has been a bit off of late. Hopefully we all turn up with our singing voices and gee the lads onto a good performance.

Going to be a long few days waiting for it.

As long as our manager doesn’t win the “Manager of the Month” again, and Boro do not have to play any more Neil Warnock teams we should be OK.

If be confident about beating any of the 3 teams in the OP over 2 legs. The more 'battling' teams like Luton and Millwall I wouldn't over 2 legs but conversely would fancy us to beat them in a one off at Wembley.

The only team I wouldn't want at all is Sunderland. We saw how they raised their game for their cup final, against us at the SoS, they'd be challenging over 1 or 2 games. That and logistics of two NE teams going to London.

I think we're all in danger of overthinking it, you want to enter the playoffs in form and playing well for confidence as much as anything else but I'm not convinced you can say one side is better to face than any other.

The play offs are a two legged semi final and final, in other words cup ties, anything can happen and usually does. Form goes out the window and other cliches. If you don't beat what's in front of you then you weren't good enough on the day and don't go up. There's a reason people describe the play offs as a lottery. Thankfully Boro at least have some cup pedigree, we've always been a cup team, so bring it on.

You know what's mental? The fact the fanbsse is panicking because we're 6 clear of 7th with comfortable goal difference, 2 home games this week coming and just came back from 2-0 down to get a point!

We got Neil Warnocked, we knew we would, to add to it, it was April 1st. It was only going one way, Watford and Milwall have both been beaten by them to and Blackburn had to come from 2 down to rescue a point.

We ran it close with the side who are gonna be champions and in the end in the way that all champions do they ground it out and managed the game.

We have a terrible record at Ashton Gate, I can't remember to many decent results there never mind wins. Managed by a good manager who always seems to get a result against us and their home record is very good. We were 2-0 down. We came back! I'm optimistic that does the boys confidence the world of good.

Bump in the road, that's all.

I trust our gaffer, his staff and the team.

I think the play offs will be

3. Luton
4. Boro
5. Millwall
6. Norwich/Sunderland (can’t decide which given Norwich's CB situation)

Will take anyone bar Sunderland at Wembley, the only team above i’d be happy with over the 2 legs would be Norwich.

Watford are to far behind I'd rule them out.
WBA are dark horses but will struggle to make the top six.
Norwich I think will and that worries me,not sure why but I'd feel more confident with the current play off contenders.
Maybe just overly concerned
I cant see West Brom getting in play-offs. Poor easter against bottom 6 sides and losing a 2 goal lead v QPR who have collapsed
