WBA v sunlun today

The only issue I have with that is at this stage we have no idea if Ramsey, McGree and Forss will be back and 100% fit. We definitely need to wrap Akpom and Archer in cotton wool now though

Jack Clarke is a real danger and their defence is better than ours, especially with Fry out, but If we have to play them, I’d probably prefer it over 2 legs than in a one off Wembley final though, I could not bear losing to them at Wembley.
Their defence has been ravaged by injuries, I wouldn’t say it’s better than ours, they played without CBs today.

Confidence, current form and momentum are great levellers. They are currently fourth in the form table we are 6th.
We got smashed off Huddersfield where our much vaunted forward line misfired.
They play a high tempo passing game with energetic, mobile, young players who would be licking their lips at the thought of running into space behind Giles and Smith.
I really hope that one of the current also-rans find a bit of the form that took them to the brink of the play-offs and crawl over the line. Then I'll happily take whatever fate has in store for us.

Sunderland have a few niggly, snidey cloggers who leave their foot in.
Their tactics will be similar to the Stade de Sh*te, close us down, get in our faces, boot us all over, unsettle us and try to nick something.
Worry is similar tactics have worked against us a few times this season.....😬

Are we? Not much evidence on that from the 2 games this season
lol reality check they are a decent side with a great manager, but we are 9 points a head of them with a game in hand not by accident but because we are a better team in a one off game they could definitely beat us but we are a better team and should fine against them especially over two legs if we play them in the semi's

Would you be optimistic trying to chase a 2 0 scoreline in the 2nd leg
No - We've shown we have no plans against teams who sit with men behind the ball. Any team that comes here with a 2 nil lead is sitting with 11 men in their half.

If we get any game to the Riverside with a draw or lead and a team has to try play against us, you can pay for your hotels and get in queue for tickets.

When we played Blackpool at home that’s exactly what they did.. defended deep from minute one and we made light work of them that day.

It’s one thing defending a 2 goal lead for half an hour against us, but for me if we come into the second leg no more than 2-0 down I’d still fancy us to progress

I know Mowbray's got to do what he's got to do and be professional but it will be difficult to stomach if we get to the final and lose to Sunderland.

Are we a better side with Archer and Ramsay starting or at least one of them starting? say in place of Crooksy or Muniz?

The answer must be yes.

Neither Archer or Ramsay started in either game against Sunderland.
