I blame the parents. You need to brainwash your kids at an early age before it's too late.
I made my son wear a kit and watch Bernie Slaven plus Season Review Videos from age 3.
By the time he went to school he was Boro mad. In Kent.
I'm not sure he has ever forgiven me.

Rekindled my love of subbuteo when my lad was young. He was also brainwashed to support Boro, in Oxfordshire. Unfortunately he was born in 2002 so can't remember the good times and only made it to a couple of Premier League games in our Southgate relegation season. High points for him probably Wembley, Brighton promotion game and cup wins at Old Trafford/Etihad.
