West Ham Euro final allocation

West Ham will only receive 5,000 tickets for their Europa conference Final (same number as Fiorentina).
UEFA said the made ' a mistake' choosing Slavia Prague's ground which only holds 20,000.
Outrageous really
 
They (Uefa) probably do it to guarantee a bumper audience for the TV rights money they’ll receive. Football, Corrupt, Never……. 👀
 
Why do they keep doing it then? It was bad enough when we had to try and dish 9,000 tickets out between probably about 40,000+ regular attendees.
 
They seem to choose the venues based on the teams playing in the competitions which is just stupid. It's a final so of course teams will have plenty of fans that wat to go. These aren't small teams with no fans. In England we use Wembley for all the playoff finals, even the National League and even for the smaller competitions like the FA trophy and the FA Vase. The should always choose the biggest possible stadium or at least a stadium as big as the biggest stadium of the participating teams.

Or at least shouldn't be. God knows what goes through the mind of the imbeciles running the game.

Absolute class! I would not condone violence but the sight of that man single handedly taking on those hooded scrotes made me smile. They were hell bent on attacking families and he stood there and prevented that.

He should be awarded in some way for his courage against heavy odds. My question would be where were the stewards and police as the video shows this went on a for a few minutes?
 
Absolutely shocking. This goes from Boro in a European final to FA cup allocations.

League cup and playoffs get it right. Just go 50/50 on capacity. That said holding a final in a ground that holds 20k instantly devalues a competition they are trying to promote.

The JPT trophy in league 1 and 2 gets double or more. Also says a lot about the English lower tiers Supports👌
 
I've just read on the BBC that they are expecting around 20,000 West Ham fans to be in Prague for the final tomorrow and the ground only holds 19,370. Only 4,890 West Ham fans will have official tickets.

As mentioned above, it makes a mockery out of choosing this venue.

Its absolute proof that UEFA (and FIFA alike) have blatant disregard for the fans.

I got the impression he was enjoying himself. It was like a massive game of whack-a-mole for him.
