What an excellent point that is

Fantastic point and great defensive display but our play on the ball is very worrying. I don’t even think it’s a lack of creativity, we look like we can’t string 3 passes together without someone miscontrolling it.

That being said we are right in the mix and I’d still back us to have a go at anyone in this division. Last time we had a sticky spell, a gritty horrible 0-0 at Millwall put us back on track, hopefully it’s the same here.

The lack of gusto just felt to me like we were delaying an inevitable slide into mid-table. Hope I'm wrong, but I think others in the top 6 would have beaten Bournemouth on that performance.

Which teams would've beaten them? The sheff utd side who got beat at home to Reading? The Huddersfield side who drew with an out of form QPR? Blackburn who lost at home to Peterborough (ok they're not top 6 but you get the point)

Huddersfield created plenty tonight. No idea how Sheff Utd or Blackburn played, but you can't deny Bournemouth were there for the taking and we did nowhere near enough to trouble them.
As we saw last week when we performed well below par against Hull, if the opposition create problems then you can easily lose. We were toothless today.

Yeah I agree we need to do better going forward but the suggestion that others would've done better isn't based on anything tangible. Yeah they might be scored but they may well have conceded

Don't get me wrong, I'm desperate for us to do well, but scoring has been an issue all season and yet today it wasn't so much missing chances as not making any.
Apart from Tav, nobody got anywhere near the front two and they were essentially hung out to dry. We need to get back to how we were playing as a team not so long back. At the moment we're ok defensively, but disjointed further up the pitch.

No I’m saying it’s the championship and anyone can really beat anyone.

Yes we should have won but look at shef u and Blackburn today sides will and do slip up.
