We got 4 points against second in the league. Other teams infront have dropped points and let us back in. Because we were playing a team in second it feels even bigger. It will give us Confidence now to push on. Need to beat Huddersfield though

Payero wont be fit yet.. only 45 min for the 23s he might come in when Jones misses two games? (currently on 10 yellow cards)
 
Brilliant point against a top 2 team.

Even if every result had went against us, it would have been a good point.

We've moved up to 7th and are now only 2 points off the play-offs with a game in hand.
 
Make no mistake about it, this is a fantastic point, these are going up and are absolutely no mugs so a clean sheet is brilliant to.
Back it up against Huddersfield Monday at Mid day and it's advantage Boro due to our game in hand. Some great results went for us today.

Great to see Jones back, he was excellent, Daniels didn't put a foot wrong and I just felt miles more confident with him in goal knowing he wasn't going to have a rush of blood and cost us, just solid. What can you say about Sol?! What a man he is, 37 and had cancer..he's incredible and an absolute rolls royce.

Roll on Monday, Thanks to Paul Ince for doing us a little favour today.

Crooks out for three games though... he'll only have 2 left to play and this If Mcgree Doesn't absolutely kill it in his absence.

Anyone know if Payero came through the U23's unscathed?

I'd go for Coburn and Balogun personally.
Watmore looked Spent, Sporar hasn't been very good since January and it just isn't going well for Connolly.

Complete overhaul of the strikers next season, regardless of division
 
It's a really good point. Bamba was excellent again. The only nagging doubts are about our lack of creativity and/or attacking play. I actually thought we could've made Bournemouth pay today, especially after that little spell just before half time. The second half was almost a non event from our point of view, going forward. But it's a really good point that becomes an excellent point if we win on Monday IMO.

How is it back in our hands? If the Huddersfield score stays as it is we’ll still be 6 points behind them even if we score a hatful so it will be in other teams hands not ours.

If we win every game now between now and the end of the season we will finish in the top 6. That’s how.

Before today, we were 3 points off the play-offs with a game in hand, but reliant on goal difference.

Now we are 2 points off the play-offs with a game in hand.

We are in a much better position now than before kick-off.

Just out of interest who in the top 6 would have beaten Bournemouth today, Forest who couldn’t beat Luton, Sheffield United who couldn’t beat Reading, Huddersfield who as things stand are struggling to beat QPR or Fulham who couldn’t beat Coventry?

Sorry just answered my own question, you obviously mean Luton as they beat Forest.

So what you mean is out of the top 6 Luton could’ve beat Bournemouth, but we beat Luton which means we should beat Bournemouth because Luton beat Forest and anybody in the top 6 would have beaten Bournemouth today.

I’m glad the championship is a piece of pi55 to predict
