What has Middlesbrough given to the world music scene?

For example EBTG, Tracey is from Hertfordshire and Ben is from London, they just got together whilst at Uni in Hull.
I mean if that is the link then we can have Skin from Skunk Anansie who was at Teessdie Uni when I was there.

I'll add myself into the list, if we are extending to Norton, since my band played our first gig last week. Just the best cover band formed entirely from IT Service Management experts in the world....possibly. :D

Hmm, not quite though, as that's different. She just went to the Uni, she didn't actually form the band whilst at Teesside nor did she take the name of the band from a shop in Middlesbrough so I'd say Brian's claim for EBTG is much stronger.

Alistair Griffin - runner up in Fame Academy - had a top 10 hit with Robin Gibb from The Bee Gees.

Trevor Bolder Would have been 73 Played with Bowie on 5 brilliant albums and Both of Mick Ronsons brilliant solo albums too. As well as with Uriah Heep and Wishbone Ash
