Three horse shoesWelly in Billingham is good after it was done out just before covid.
The Kings down the road has a good garden but it attracts some idiots.
My favourite? I’m heading to in about an hour, but I’m not going to say where it is. As it’s fantastic, not over crowded, and not full of people intent on getting off their faces on powder. Better kept on the down low.
No, but that’s a decent shout.Three horse shoes
I don’t mind the Welly like you said eitherNo, but that’s a decent shout.
I was in the Fox and Hounds in Neasham village earlier, usually very nice, but I got out of there when they started inflating a bouncy castle
Been to all this afternoon, the Blue Bell and the keys are the best, for different reasons. The blue bell in Yarm should be number one by the Tees but it is dire. A waste of a bar.
Best the black bull or the keys.
I suppose these days I don’t have a local, but I do go in the Green Dragon which I can walk to in Bedale.
It serves good food and I like the Estella (brewed in Barcelona) . The Green Dragon has a garden and shows the big TV too.
Lack of people vaping every two seconds, customers having 20 plus UCAS points, lack of tattoos on arms, nice selection of real ales, a water feature/river etc, plenty of seats and toilet facilities. Bonus points for nice food and sky tv.The yarm beer gardens are awful - keys especially
But this thread also begs the question - what makes a good beer garden?
Sunshine all day for one - so sputh facing, what else?
The Keys is an excellent beer garden for me. Is it because it's not sputh facingThe yarm beer gardens are awful - keys especially

UCAS points, I love that - made me chuckleLack of people vaping every two seconds, customers having 20 plus UCAS points, lack of tattoos on arms, nice selection of real ales, a water feature/river etc, plenty of seats and toilet facilities. Bonus points for nice food and sky tv.
