No stranger to missing out on a transfer target or five.. what strings would he be pulling?

Deal Fry out of the door for a cool £15m?

5 Ethan Ampadu in on loan?
6 Ben Gibson in on loan?
7 Josh Bowler £3m
9 Ross Stewart £5m
10 Luke O’Nein £4m
11 Josh Maja £3m

A few names seem to have gone adrift recently and I’ve been banging on about some old names coming back into the fray.. wheeling and dealing leaving us with a different sort of squad to what we might have expected and a few big names off to balance the books?

A few Derby lads have been mentioned as replacements for our targets.. Max Bird to Sunlun perhaps?

I dont believe in God, but I trust him more than Warnock when it comes to transfer dealings - Joe Lumley anyone?

But we'd have been 3 nil down anyway as half the new signings wouldn't have signed for us as they wouldn't have wanted to work for a dinosaur and incur chronic neck ache watching the ball being hoofed over their heads ever 2 minutes.

Wilder has finally realised you need a target man and a physical presence up front to get out of this league... Last season we had 2 midgets up front and balls were being slung into the box, no wonder Connelly was disappointing up against 6'4 defenders every week. Expect to see a few more long balls if Muniz comes in, you need to mix it up a bit in this league, Neil knew that, and that's why he got promoted so many times 👍

A forgot - mi mayte hairymus menshund me old mayte Boris. Well a think hes done a good job getting that Lizz Truss tut top of tree. A reckon we should make wages illegal an send all the lads down the coalmines(y)

To be fair Nobby I agree you do need to mix it up a bit, but it was more 9 parts to 1 part in favour of getting it forward early under Warnock.

And that's a fair point @Erimus74, he did a great job at keeping us up and I'm grateful to him for that but after that first January our performances went down quicker than Paddy McNair with a striker at his back.
