What would Warnock do?

To be fair Nobby I agree you do need to mix it up a bit, but it was more 9 parts to 1 part in favour of getting it forward early under Warnock.

And that's a fair point @Erimus74, he did a great job at keeping us up and I'm grateful to him for that but after that first January our performances went down quicker than Paddy McNair with a striker at his back.
Exactly I’ll always be greatful
But he is still a dinosaur but he was what we needed then.

The game has moved on

Really?

In answer to the original question, he'd be drawing up a list of who to throw under the bus at his next presser. He kept us up but that's it. He made a mess of recruitment and his results were little better than Woodgate whilst playing a pretty dreadful brand of football. Thank fukk he's gone.
Made a mess of recruitment?
He didn't have ANY MONEY !
We did remarkably well under Neil recruiting loan players, free's and bringing in the likes of Watmore Bamba and Jones. People seem to have conveniently forgotten about the financial straightjacket he was operating under as far as recruitment was concerned. What you've said is just nonsense 👍

🤦 If I hear one more time from Erimus74 that “ Neil” kept us up and we should be grateful til our death beds I’m going to punch a box of Frosties in.

@theredrooster, agree with all that, as I've mentioned on here numerous times I wanted him to manage us & he did & thankfully he did, I agree with you also regarding it just wasnt working with NW & it was right for him to be replaced

To be fair to you E74 it wasn’t you that brought up the subject of Warnock (although you don’t ever need a second invitation to jump aboard) but the OP who has, like a certain other contributor to this thread, a rather odd fixation with the bloke
For me he doesnt deserve the bad press he gets on here, it seems from nowhere his name gets dragged up & certain posters pile in on the thread, obviously he still lives rent free in their heads with a few on here

I will continue to defend the mans time here

I disagree E74. It’s certain posters who keep bringing his name back up and people simply have grown tired of him regularly being mentioned Nothing more than that.

he'd be boring the life out of us with irrelevant anecdotes
an arm round the defence, the best defence in the league, he’d have had us in the top six, Bausor bolloxed up the deals for Luke O’Nein, Pelly Rudduck-Mpanzu & Ross Stewart.

He’d defo be in for Macauley Langstaff!!
