What would your Mother say about these days?

My Mam would be turning in her grave. When I was a kid she used to say say to me, "If you don't don't pick up that cup by its handle, I'll give you a jam jar to drink out of." Now you go to a pub and it's fashionable to drink out of one.

My mum would have said exactly the same thing "Treat everyone the way you would want to be treated, don't break girls hearts and don't fight unless you have no other option"

She said that every weekend.
Love you mum, just wish I could hug you.

"Treat everyone the way you would want to be treated" I used that comment or something akin to it to every person who worked under me Offshore. It something my mother and father always said to me.

Mum is still around but suffering from the early signs of dementia so its mostly I haven't got a bloody clue whats going on' or 'I can't remember' both with a chuckle.

Dad meanwhile, 'They'll always let you down son'
