What's the story behind your username?

One of my earliest memories of Ayresome Park, a night match against Leicester.
I was in the South Stand and Dennis Rofe (Leicester lb) got injured right in front of me.
He got stretchered off and my dad said he has probably broken his leg.
I didn't know why everyone in the crowd was being nasty to him (Rofe, not my dad).
It obviously had quite an impact on me.

When this board first started my user name was Boksics left foot. When they altered the board slightly it would not recognise the name so I had to re register and used the initials.

Mine was originally an account set up when Strachan was in charge with the intention of pretending I was the wee man himself and I posted 'insights' after a few of the games explaining my reasoning for certain tactical decisions, substitutions etc. A few people even thought I was the genuine ginger fella for a few games.... ;)
I'm Norm and I'm a Smoggy
Smoggynorm

I live on Romney Marsh, and this seemed an evocative name. As I'm from Stockton, not even sure I qualify as a smoggie. My previous name, Salopian Stocktonian, was perhaps a more accurate description. as an ex-Grangefield GS pupil living in Shrewsbury.... certainly more pretentious!

double meaning - started off in life being barmy about all that was Boro and then after 97 it became about realising you had to be barmy to be Boro .

Born in Jockland moved to Redcar in the Kingdom of Teesside in 1976 aged twelve.

Home team St Mirren who I still look out for ( in the Scottish Cup semi's this week ) , but for the last 45 years Boro have been my team, plenty of ups and down but loved every minute.

Boils my p**s when I see born and bred Teessiders wearing other teams colours, don't get it.

Oh by de-fault Scotland national team.

Tom Paterson made his only Boro appearance in my first ever game. I'd previously been Piggy but felt a change was due for the new board.
