I was originally Hicktonspenaltyrunup because I'd never seen anything quite like it when I first started going to Ayresome park, but when we had to change names (Old board, can't remember when or why) I chose my moniker as I'm Boro born + bred, but live in Buxton in the wonderful Peak district.

There's a strange mix of support here. From the inevitable Man U/Man C through to Derby County, Sheff Wed, Sheff Utd, but very very little Chesterfield/Macclesfield/Stockport County. The last 3 are closer to here than the first 5......

Whenever I hear that place name, it always makes me think of this

Apologies for the old skool vulgarity.

Mine isn't very exciting or interesting. I used to be Smoggy in Wilts, because that is where I was living when I first registered. I had great memories as a 4 year old when we moved to Teesside, when my dad took us on a tour of the industrial areas of flares and machinery. My Dad had an office in the docks, he was Customs and Excise and would show me the transporter bridge. We moved away after a few years but I was always proud of my time near Middlesbrough.
However there was a post about us talking up our area and not creating the negative aspect, so as I had also moved I became Boro in Devon. Looking to move again soon so may need to change my name again.
Nice one B in D if you keep on moving like that why not Boro Nomad ☺️

Mine is a nod to the old games of football/wallie on streets and playgrounds as a kid but I also feel the oxymoron is very apt for a Boro fan.
