Who is the worst courier service and why is it Evri?

They've just delivered a leather jacket to me, but left it outside my front door for three days whilst i was in London!

Thankfully the locals on my manor know not to mess with me, otherwise it might have walked.

Either that, or sheer good luck.

The locals probably left it because they
knew
it was a leather jacket o_O

After defending Evri on here yesterday and stating how good our delivery driver was, I've had to mark her down a few points.

I received a phone call this morning from my sister-in-law this morning asking me how I liked my present, Sorry, I said, I haven't received any present or had a delivery. It was supposed to be delivered last night or today she replied.

It was my birthday yesterday and I had nipped to The Chapel for a few pints with the wife yesterday evening and never returned until late. We had been out in the car this afternoon and when we returned around 17.30 we sat in the garden and had a drop of wine. The wife asked me to water the plants in the front garden when I watered the hanging baskets in the rear. When I went out the side gate there was a packaging tucked up against it and the wall. Due to the above, I'm not sure how long it had been there and could have easily been missed.

Evri have just delivered a parcel to our house. In it are a load of clothes we have not ordered from a company we have never heard of. When looking carefully at the parcel, underneath the shipping label on the front (addressed to daughter) you can just make out another label with the address of the correct recipient. So we have been sent someone else's stuff.

What fun.

Now I need to arrange to return someone else's stuff to a company I have never heard of and Daughter has to start the process of trying to get her undelivered intended goods that she ordered from a different company - which are of course nowhere to be seen.

Surely the fault lies with the company and not evri?

I’ve just received a text from a company called Premier Deliveries asking me to click a link to confirm a delivery slot for some furniture that I have not ordered.

I did not click on the link and they phoned me from a Birmingham number and left a voicemail which a lady with an Indian accent said my delivery will be sent tomorrow and make sure to be in, have a lovely dayyyyy.

I don’t expect to receive any free furniture.

I've come to the conclusion that they're all absolutely sh1te! I ordered something the other day and paid to get it delivered to a local shop as I knew no one was going to be in today and I could collect it on my way home. Got the delivery notification this afternoon so called at said shop earlier this evening. The shop keeper claimed that UPS had lost it. Not a lot I could do other than contact UPS. After contacting them they said it had been delivered and just sent me a picture of a random parcel. It was only a pair of trousers, but think I am going to start shopping on the high street again.
