Who to support on Saturday

Couldn't care less if I'm honest but at a push if I had to pick a team it would be Coventry, too many London teams in the Premier league

I like lutons old style i would to see some of the premier league primadonnas kicked off the park. However my worry with luton is they will be sold off to a wealthy owner and a new stadium bought for them to become an established premier team like minnows bmouth and brentford when their traditonal position is league 1

Don’t like either but the Coventry keepers anti football time wasting antics are something I would hate to see in the premier league. On that basis it’s Luton for me

The premier league is full of time wasters eddy game management howe has a team who are masters of it.

When it is so blatantly perpetrated against your side in your biggest game of the season it sticks in your throat. Would love to play and stuff Coventry next season whereas Luton I am totally ambivalent about

I have no problem with either club I will be happy to warltch and enjoy the emotion of it
I'm just glad it's not Sunderland and that's that
Both cov and Luton have battled adverse finances and I respect them for it
Good luck to whomever goes up

Not Coventry due to the anti-football time wasting. That and a tedious family member has a love in with a Cov fan which I find nauseating,

Not Luton either due to the cheating against us.

I’ll go for Luton. Hopefully the Cov keeper has an absolute nightmare causing them to lose and then Hamer and Gykores leave.

I, meh, ....want.... Luton to win it... up or down they are not going to change much & would be the same team next season in the Championship as they are now...

Cov if they fail to make it up will lose Gyökeres.. if they get promoted they have a better chance of staying up though I think only Burnley have anything like a chance of staying up next season... esp after Sheff Utd relying on loans & one or two signings...

TBH I may no even watch it.. a fest of football it won't be..

I'm not sure I'll be able to bring myself to watch this. We really should be there and were more than capable of beating Luton. I'm not massively disappointed we are not going up, as we would have been lambs to the slaughter, as will those two, but am disappointed to be missing out on a great day out.

Based on the cringey Sky Cov love in fawning over them during our 2 games, and the fact Luton have gone close 2 seasons in a row and finished 3rd, so more deserving imo, I’m hoping they do it.
Nice new stadium for them, great story rising from bottom to top division after many years in the wilderness.
Also watching the big team glory boy fans moaning about Luton being too small for the Prem etc will tickle me.

I had tickets for every match at Wembley for Euro 96 - a gamble taken well before the tournament. I got lucky in seeing England's journey to the SF.
After losing to Germany, my mate and I couldn't face the final and gave our tickets to a local family. I didn't even watch the final on TV.
I feel similar re this Play Off final.

Consequences have meant I shipped the Mrs out for Saturday, hoping for Boro in the final but now I've got the day to myself!

It's gonna be great weather by the looks of it but I know I'll end up watching the PO final. It'd be more appealing if I could choose a team to support. There's no real underdog, they're both pretty meh teams and I have petty beef with both (Coventry for boring our pants off, well beating us, and Luton because their fans were horrendous when I've encountered them following York in the past.)

Both have nice back stories, both will come straight back down next season, we don't have a great connection with either, both have been top league. Neither have a Hollywood connection ;)

Yeah after writing all that it seems I'll probably go to Saltburn for fish and chips :p

Ignore the final and go sit outside in the sunshine instead!!

Luton is just a horrendous place per se, and could do with PL football for regeneration . So with that pity I’ll support the Hatters. Don’t mind if Cov do it either, they did us fair and square.
