As a big fan of Ian Dury I was served up this interview with Parkinson from way back, it's in two parts, if you can possibly spare the time watch it right through
You not only get to spend time with the inimitable Ian Dury but you also get to see why Parky was so revered for his interviewing. Can you imagine a self absorbed d!ckhead like Jonathan Ross being able to hold a grown up conversation about this subject matter and allow the interviewee to tell his/her story at their own pace?
We are diminished by the loss of both.
