Who's the best team of who we have played so far

Agree with your positive view on matters but am I missing something here, we played Bournemouth in our 1st home league game this season. Apologies in advance if I'm just being dim. :)
No it was me being dim. I was relying on my memory without looking. Just couldn't remember that game. Oh well even better then !

If Swansea has been allowed to play their game I think they would have been the best we played. They showed signs of it and looks dangerous cutting us open more easily than others have.

I don’t rate Huddersfield at all - they were very fortounate to get anything from that game - on another day we would have been out of sight by half time. As an ex prem team I thought they were very poor.

I think Stoke are very similar to us in many ways this season. Look a good team and are in every game they play. Gonna be a tough one. Would take a draw.
I would take a draw - hate saying that - but only if we take take 6 wins out of next 6. They are all teams we can beat

Huddersfield were poor, they should have been 3-0 down in 25 minutes.

Only Norwich have impressed me, in the second half they looked a prem side, the rest are all very average, or we have made them look average at least

I think we are as good as anybody but Huddersfield have impressed me the most.
I just thought once their defender went off they moved up a gear & we lost our usual composure, we just gave it away, from cruising to victory we were chasing shadows

I would go along with that

I'm not saying Huddersfield looked good.

I'm just saying that for 60 minutes of that match we absolutely deserved to lose, our second half performance was shocking. That seemed largely down to their defender going off, Dijksteel's injury and fatigue, but it's the only time this season that I felt we were second best

I'd say Bournemouth looked the best side of the team's we played, but even they weren't particularly impressive.

I have seen Swansea enough this season to know they are no mugs. To beat them is a fantastic result. They have experienced players who have played in the prem and good young talents like Dhanda. Was a brilliant win. I fancy Swansea to be right up there. Hopefully with us!

Norwich second half and Swansea are the best 2 teams on what I've seen.
Stoke on saturday will be a good test as they have a massive squad on a huge parachute payment fuelled wage bill and O'Neill seems to have them better organised. Stop Campbell and we will beat them I believe.
If we win at Stoke on saturday, I think top 6 should be a very serious target.

Good point on Campbell. A very good player. I would play Watmore again and get him to target Danny Batth if he’s playing because he isn’t the quickest.

I would say Norwich, even though we managed to negate them most of the game they played some good stuff secodn half

I would have to agree with Norwich, surprised that Reading, Bournemouth and Watford didn't look better when we played them. Brentford look to be finding form now and Luton are a bit of a surprise package with Nathan Jones back.

It's going to be an incredibly tight promotion race in the Championship this season, anyone can beat anyone and I would never have had Derby and Forest down for relegation battles at the start of the season.

The Championship is a really interesting and competitive league again as always, unlike the Premier.

I’m afraid I didn’t see anything from Norwich which made me think they were up to much. Tav, the ref and Coulson between them lost us that game.

Watford had a bit of quality and kept us down to a half chance but perhaps too early in the season for us.

The rest of the ‘top‘ teams are a bit anonymous in my opinion which is why Huddersfield’s 3 goals did the job for me on this particular thread.

I think they played the ball around a lot with a PL presence, done it in spelks but I agree once we got at em they looked average, agree your comments 100% on how we lost that game

Both points spot on

Yes they looked good & past the ball around well & that in itself must give us more confidence that we can soak up pressure & still go forward to create more chances

NW has done another great tactision job on Swansea

Not sure about a tactical job. I think Swansea were another big disappointment.

First half they seemed to spend most of their time trying to kick our midfield and carried on scandalously when they wanted a penalty. I don’t have much time for teams who try to intimidate the referee.

And but for a big deflection they would have been nowhere near scoring a goal.

Very poor for another ‘rated’ team Im afraid.

you know who will score on satda', dont you ?

Reading for me as the best team we have aced so far this season. (and we should have had 3 points from that game)

but what about ever?, who was the best team we have ever played?
maybe that Arsenal side that beat us 6-1 at home a long while back. In the days of Kanu. Was it the invicibles team ?
