Why we can’t let Ben Houchen control our money again.

Strongest form of protection is company names. I owned Teesside International Airport Limited and Teesside Airport Limited as well as trade marks and domain names. Wasn’t ‘squatting’. Offered IP suite for sale/license in witnessed presentation to Peel Airports at Doncaster Airport on Brexit vote day in 2016 long before Ben Houchen ever became Mayor on 8th May 2017.

Read the definition - I would delete the thread if I were you, you've made it very easy to prove!

Watch the videos. Explains commercial values. Do you really think that mugging me for £250,000 is same as mugging Teesside for £500,000,000 at Teesworks? Same method I suppose. UTB!… hope we can at least agree on that!😊

He didn't mug you off for £250,000 though did he?

He offered you £20,000 for something you paid next to nothing for, and even complimented your business savvy for buying it first.

There's no "commercial value" to intellectual property unless someone is willing to buy it for that value, which they're not.

And again... This thread is about Houchen controlling public money...

I'd be pretty annoyed with Houchen if a quarter of a million of my public money was going to some random IP squatter.

You're happy with 50 million of our money and 90% of the profits going to his mates?

I already have...

You bought it, without any intention of using it. No matter who needed it, whether it be Peel, Houchen, Labour, anyone... Your primary goal was to ransom it for your own financial gain, even if the money came from the public.

Most would see that as shady business.

To get back to my original point; interesting that we have a Conservative Mayor who only believes in free enterprise when it’s his chums who benefit? Teesworks sale to Corney & Musgrave is either corrupt or inept. Neither are good reason to re-elect him.

So when it's to his chums it's bad...

But when it benefits you personally it's different?

There was no benefit or consideration to me. It will all come out in the wash Ash. In the meantime let’s hope the Boro beat Watford this weekend. Much more exciting. Goodbye.

Usual bollox from Houchen. Sooner Labour get in and get the NAO involved the better.

How is this bollox? - I don't like Houchen - but everything in that video is true.

This guy bought the IP for Teesside Airport with no intention of doing anything other than trying to sell it on for a massive profit. Even if that money came from the tax payer.

Houchen actually acted in good faith by offering him a well done and £20,000 - which he turned down and demanded £250,000.
