Yeah he sounded happy now he’s going to get the team he wants next season and have a real go right from the beginning of season instead of nearly half way through

Didn’t think we could get smashed 4-1 on the last day on the season and yet be so pumped for next season after listening to that interview

It wouldn’t surprise me to see Howson leave, his time here for me hasn’t lived up to expectations. I was expecting a box to box midfielder who’d chip in with a few goals a season. He wouldn’t be hard to replace in my opinion.

Totally fired up and honest… put his ass on the line (for next season) which I like - no hiding ‘talk’. Judge me on next season. This was different to the empty rhetoric Woodgate use to spout - there was substance and a time line attached to it.

I was half expecting a down beat tone to his voice and more talk of medium and long term but he sounded absolutely fired up and buzzing. Love the fact it’s made him feel like that. He doesn’t suit the system unfortunately. He’s a left back not a wing back. I think he will have plenty of suitors as he’s a decent player for this level in the right system and I think he will be sold.
