Willock fee agreed with us -£2m

If he can stay injury free and knuckle down. I think playing in a better team and regaining his confidence he is worth a gamle at 2million. Adds bit more pace too.

If the fee is only £2M it is decent business at our level, adds experience, some pace and will improve the team without doubt. Injuries are a worry, but they are with lots of players, at the price I’m happy if its true.

It’s that clever that it feels too good to be true. Great if I’m wrong but I don’t see it.
 
I was really surprised when Crooks signed a new deal. I just didn't think he suited the Carrick system and didn't think he'd be happy being used as an impact player like he was for much of last season.

It makes sense for him to leave for all parties IMO.

Won't pretend I know another about Willock but seems to get a lot of good reviews
 
Dont get me wrong, I am not really an advocate of warnock / pulisball but if we lose crooks we will probably have the smallest ( height wise) team in the division.

I was surprised when he signed a new deal because I didn't think he fit in at all, the only thing I could think as you say, we're securing his value. He might not fit in here but he's definitely worth something at Championship level. We paid what? £1m for him? His value has only gone up since then and on a 3 year deal you'd think we could get £1.5m-£2m.

He’s only got 2 years in his deal
 
I think Wilock is one of those players who has a lot of creativity, but suffered last season maybe because QPR’s defence was so poor his time was spent on the back foot. He definitely has some good qualities and will give use the creativity that we need. Let’s wait and see.
