He was mentioned as someone we were interested in 3 or 4 weeks ago, then it fell off the radar. I’m guessing we sounded them out to get him in as a replacement for Akpom if he went. Seems good work by the club to have a plan B if Akpom were to leave and to instigate it straight away
Yes I was front row right behind the goal post where he put it, I was getting ready to protect my daughters face if it went wide, but it never looked like it would

They are in deep ++++ and thats partly why they have been struggling to find recruits and losing managers - with appalling results. They will take money for Willock which might give Gareth Ainsworth some slack. Crooks is a Gareth - type player. He likes big bustling players alongside youth - with pace. If you look at the style he perfected at Wycombe, Crooksy would work well. Its like everything - all up in the air. Lets hope some of this gets tied down soon, otherwise we will be pizzing about until the transfer deadline arrives.

He’s made 67 appearances in the last 2 seasons. That’s not to say he hasn’t had injuries, he has mostly last seasonHe's a talent. Yet 40 odd games over 2 seasons. He's had a whole host of niggley injuries.
