Wing gone to Rotherham

Strange to let a first team player go out when we are already that short we, at times, can’t fill bench.

I don't like knocking players, but it's poor defensive positioning and inability to tackle/man mark that more than outweigh the odd goal. Wish him well.

Wasn't getting much game time so not a massive surprise. Whether it can help him come back better for us next season only time will tell

Hope he cements a place and plays well.

Thought he was excellent in his first season, but the pace of the game seemed to catch up with him.
Even though he scored 7 last year, I thought he was better under Pulis.

Hardly. He offers the far end of nothing outside of the odd pot shot.

He is well above his level.
The odd pot shot offers more than the majority of the current CM. I think it's very harsh to say he's gash.

He scored 7 last season. We may have gone down if you take them away. It's a decent move for him.

I wouldn't bet against him scoring more than Saville / Morsy and Howson combined until the rest of the season.

Cue lots of claims for their £35 back.

Where did that bloke with £8m disappear to?

Wing is simply too immobile unfortunately. He was never quick but seems to have become slower.

Only happy with this if we sign a replacement. We play 433 and we now only have 3 first team midfielders fit as Tav is injured. Morsy and Savilles form can be up and down. We can’t rely on the young kid Hackney to step in. We need a replacement otherwise I think this is a silly one

And I'd bet he makes more mistakes that lead to goals against as well.
