It was frustrating, because none of us expected promotion but we all bought into this idea of us playing high-pressing attacking football, and yes we may not gain promotion but at least it's going to be exciting to watch and we may have something to build on.I was excited listening to his press inteview when he was given the managers job, talking about fast, exciting football, yes talk is cheap, but for a few months it was refreshing to read that he was hoping to stamp his brand throughout the club & after Stracham & Pulis it was nice to read the club were changing direction
The Luton game started off as he said it would, dont think anyone on here was complaining, probably the opposite, the home game v Brentford started off similar, 2 goals disallowed with us looking lively & on the front foot, second half we lost our way & ended up losing 1-0, we never really came back after that
He brought in some good players who have served us well
I think him brining in Keane was a poor recruitment, IMHO he needed someone with more experience, not another novice who will not go onto become a manager, but thats just my opinion
Good luck to Woody, I really hope he gets a job back in management sometime
The Luton game seemed to be a taster of what was to come and I liked it, but after the Brentford game he seemed to completely give up on his original plan.
