I maintain for a free transfer and very cheap wages Chris Killen (who also played a game for us at centre half) was nowhere near one of the worst players I've seen in a Boro shirt.

Agree. I thought he did a job under the circumstances, led the line, won his headers etc. Met expectations, which were low but still.

We've had far worse.

Lee Miller, awful player. Waste of money...Strachan's gift to Aberdeen?. Didn't have the abilty for the championship. I'd love to see his attempts on target and headers won.

Dong Gook Lee however was the most out of his depth player I have ever seen. I genuinely thought I was better than him as I could at least do a Noel Whelan and run about a bit.

We've had some stinkers though. Order of worst for me, Lee, King, Gestede(hated us) Boyd, Ricketts, Davenport, Bent, Mido, 2 miller's, kitson (hated us), Aliadiere. There must be loads I'm missing. As said, b4 this season Chuba would have been up there.

Oh how could I forget Braithwaite

I agree on Killen. He wasn't awful, he was sort of just functional. Not a bad player, just not really a goalscorer. Possibly one of the worst human beings to play for us though.

Has to be Lee Miller. Played 11 times for us and I'd be surprised if he touched the ball more than 5 times. Genuinely the worst I've seen in a Boro shirt, may as well have played with 10 men

He was a hugely underwhelming signing, but if I remember correctly I think he was subbed on during a real thumping, then either got injured after that game or during the next, so not sure he put in enough bad games to get in this team.

He was part of the Southgate team that got mauled 5-0 by WBA. He was truly woeful that day. I wonder how many more times he played. Going to check now!
