Is there much doubt left that the virus escaped from the Wuhan Institute?

It's now come out that they infact were doing gain of function research in the lab on coronavirus in a BSL 2!!! That means it's the same level of safety as your dentists.

And for a kicker it turns out Fauci companies were infact investing in Wuhan.

What does this mean for virology as a whole? Do you still believe the initial message that it came from the wet market despite there being cases prior to the market.

This should be the biggest story of the century.

Also they've still not been able to find a single intermediary animal with virus despite testing 80,000 species, unlike with Sars and Mers.

Fauci, like our scientists representing the government, are in their role as much to do with their political stance as scientific ability.

Rand Paul asking those questions makes me wonder why is he asking them, he's no friend of democracy or looking after his population's welfare. Teams of doctors and dentists were flown into Houston when I lived there to help out the locals who couldn't afford their own health care?

The digging will continue from the right people though, we're a long way yet from getting there but we will find out the source eventually.

I honestly have no idea what you're saying. Are you saying because trump alluded to it, it politicised the situation and made whole swathes of people immediately suggest it didn't come from a lab? Or are you saying it's stupid to think it came from a lab despite all the evidence pointing to it coming from a lab and 0 evidence suggesting it came from a wet market in Wuhan from animal to human transmission?
