China are the biggest user of execution for so called criminal offenses but we have many of their products for everyday use. We gave in to them so often with Olympic this and that, appeasement is bliss for so called liberal nations. Not too mention the US are also still big users of the death penalty but they heavily influence not just premier league football but our everyday western lives.
There's a chart in that link to the BBC above which details who did all the executioning in 2020.

He brought up a list of people found guilty and then later proven not to be. She had no answer then and should not be anywhere near a government front bench now.
