Youfibre

I had this problem across numerous devices with the eero router, call and ask them to swap to their other router or get a wireless mesh (not the eero) I got a Deco one and moved all my devices over to that, works brilliantly.

The routers they give you with the 2gb package is a proper big boy router. You can create 3 2.4ghz, 3 5ghz and 3 6ghz SSID's and then 3 guest networks of each, which can be good for winding up your neighbours by giving them all stupid names.

Miles better signal and speed though
Web interface on top of app control, vpn integration etc also I found the eero's got really hot whereas these are cool to the touch

Probably but I'd say not the best place to put it for signal

You'd be better putting it somewhere and just running an Ethernet cable to the cabinet, although 2.5gb network switches are quite pricy. The unit has 2x 2.5gb Ethernet ports but one gets used by the modem, so you only have 1x 2.5gb Ethernet free to use and 2x1gb

You cant adjust the antennae as they're in the clear part at the top although not sure the effect that would have

Ive just got a second asus et12 node off ebay from lithuania £200+£50 duty. Haven't set it up yet i need to run a cat 7 cable first to my attic.

That's a decent price, I'll maybe do the same come march when they make me pay for it as at £15 a month for the extra node buying it outright won't take long to pay for itself
