YouGov Poll - 33 Point lead!

Looks like pushing the torys into third place is highly unlikely.
If Labour get 350 and torys get 150 it will be spun as a tory win and they will be back in power in 10 years at most.

So with a few seats left Labour are actually only on 33 (point 9) per cent - not 33 per cent ahead

Given the vote share being split between 5 parties and Independents, 33% is effectively the same as 33% points ahead.

Labour could have easily stacked vote share in safe seats and had a reduced majority.

One thing is clear though. Future polling methodology will be buggered.

That Curtice bloke reckons you get low turnout and skewed vote share when a particular result is expected, I don’t think you can read anything into last night other than a Labour landslide.

and Tory capitulation of course. I think both of those things are true.

The public have spoken, the Tories have been punished for their corruption, lies, failure to improve a single public service, collapsing the economy, and the clown show and musical chairs of their senior leadership.

The public wanted change, they wanted the adults back in the room, they got it. Huge opportunity for a decade or more of Labour here. They need to keep a tight ship, no scandals, and repeatedly show improvements. They need to shout from the roof tops on social media about their successes, and improvements, they need to bring the feel good factor back to the country.

So it turns out MRP is fairly accurate. It was within margin of error in one of the most diverse elections in history.

Might post another poll thread in 4 years time 👍
It's your thread Chris but you may want to ask admin to lock it to further replies?
The thread has had it's ups and downs and strained a few relationships along the way that's for sure :ROFLMAO:
