Your 2nd favourite teams (UK and overseas)

UK - Plymouth Argyle

Overseas - Athletic Billbao (Went there while a Real Madrid team were in town, cracking atmosphere), Pau (Because I read an amazing Football Manager story using this team and they stuck with me ever since).

Whitby Town
Tampa Bay Rowdies (the original version) had them at subbuteo as a kid, as they didn't clash with my Boro team and I liked the kit.

None for me, used to like Barcelona but that was more because of Messi, Xavi and Iniesta.

Just the Boro for me.

Celtic and Nottingham Forest, with a soft spot for Coventry City and Notts County! Oh and Hartlepool of course!

And for overseas, VfB Stuttgart!

Keep an eye out for Hartlepool and have been to quite a few games.

Abroad SSV Jahn Regensburg feel like the German Middlesbrough

I think the only reason I have any real soft spot for any teams abroad is through Football Manager saves 😅

So, Palermo, Werder Bremen, Fluminense. Maybe Valencia to a lesser extent.

I guess a real life soft spot would be Inter just from watching them on Football Italia with Ronaldo when I was a kid.

Don't have another team from the UK I particularly care much about.

Glentoran (city of my birth)
Lech Poznan (our lass, she has no interest but the worst hangover I ever had followed a vodka session after a match with my brother in law).

Lech Lech Kolejorz!

I love Poznań - after living there for 13 years. I still go back and visit frequently and catch up with old mates. Was there last month in fact. Any particular favourite drinking haunts? The city is littered with them.

As for the question, I have a soft spot for Darlo and I work in Thornaby and on a Sunday I take a gent out in his wheelchair to watch The Griffin Pub FC play their Sunday League matches. A million miles away from the glossed-over c**p you get on Sky and BBC. It actually reminds you just how brutal and rough the game can be.
