Three years later, at the height of his powers, he joined Everton where David Moyes said obliquely: “He is 25 - but it is a Nigerian 25.”

He obviously wasn’t 40 but I wouldn’t be surprised if he was pushing 30 with us. It was interesting watching him play for Coventry a few years back - meant to be 33/34 officially but he couldn’t move.

There’s a video of him if you look of him literally not moving for 2 minutes. (Bit like the Wigan performance)
