Zack Steffen - A Swift Word

Someone on BBC Tees claimed Steffen refuses to sign autographs for young kids.
But I'm gonna say. Watching his interview and knowing that he voluntarily attended an event for disabled children before Christmas and I seen literally hundreds of pictures and lovely comments I find it hard to believe.
Seems a lovely man

Ive noticed him a few times after a match, talking too and signing autographs for the ballboys behind the goal. Seemed to take ages on Saturday for one of the kids to pull out what he wanted signing but he waited patiently for the lad. Seen him give his gloves to them a few times too. Top lad

You have to rate a person by the quality of there character above all else, the footballing ability is a secondary notion.

The last two interviews I’ve heard by boro players now has been this Steffen one and the Chuba interview on Saturday after the game on bbc tees.

I’m extremely proud to see both these lads wear our shirt

Our players must have found it difficult to get used to the terminology he probably used when he first signed.

I could imagine him using the word "soccer" instead of football all the time, and saying things like "come on boys let's try and score a few touchdowns today" before the game.
