I absolutely sympathise. I think you'll get tickets in the 190+ but that's not really the point.
MFC have created a system that is by design a closed shop, I highlighted this when it was introduced and have ever since but the general attitude from most is "I'm alright Jack" as long as I have enough points.
They need to look into what they can do to help Under 18s, they by design of the system will have less points so if you want to go to an away game with them you either have to wait for their window and risk not going yourself or buy theirs in a separate window. However they can't sit on their own, so unreserved seating would help there. But people don't want that because they would have to reduce the allocations, however since the points system was introduced we now have people standing in your seats, standing in aisles, blocking stairways etc because they don't want to stand on their own they want to stand with their friends and family.
Younger fans are missing out on the chance to buy tickets having in some cases being to more away games than the people getting tickets, and they're missing out purely because of their age which they obviously cannot change.
The whole thing needs looking at again.
I wouldn't worry about the Premier League tickets if we ever got there, most allocations are around 3,000. With that level of points you'd be fine for pretty much every game barring Brentford, Fulham and Bournemouth.
I've seen you post this time and time again. The priority point system is anything but a closed shop.
It would be a closed shop if those with a lot of points were able to get more points by buying tickets and those with low points weren't able to buy away tickets. That's only serving a small minority on a consistent basis.
However, 90% of our away games make general sale.
That means priority points 9 times out of 10 are available to all.
Young, old, brand new Boro fans, fans that have been going for 50 years. Anyone can build up their points by buying away tickets consistently and going to away games.
The way those with a lot of points get such a high number of them is they buy more away tickets (that are available to everyone) than those with a low number of points, who for whatever reason don't follow Boro away a lot (can't be arsed, can't afford it, etc etc).
