barlaser hasnt looked anything special the little ive seen of him tbh.mgree needs to be on as does archer and replace smith with dijksteel
 
I'm not writing us off but I don't think anyone can say we have been the better team. They look like scoring every time they switch the ball behind Smith - there are massive gaps all over the pitch too. We look soft and passive.

Even on the ball we have been ponderous.

Hopefully we can improve second half and get at least a point

I thought signing him was a stroke of genius, a quality midfielder who would allow us to rest Hackney and Howson. He's played a combined 70 minutes in the last 7 games.

The few times he has got on he has looked a bit suspect defensively but great going forward, we look shocking defensively anyway at the moment so don't see the harm in giving him some playing time.
 
We need to find our cutting edge sharpish.

We just don't seem cut out to grind out results, and individual mistakes are costing us big time.

Went for a ball he couldn’t win after the shyte lenihan (who gets worse every game) made a terrible mistake and McNair, instead of doing what a natural defender would do and backing off and keeping the shape goes for a ball and suddenly both your centre backs are out of the game

McNair isn’t a centre back and he’s making lenihan worse.

McNair dives in all the time instead of defending properly not only that he was a yard behind lenihan most of the first half playing them on onside when they were spreading it wide. Hes an absolute liability.

The problem is Smith is having to cover all the right side for McNair and Forss.

It was a calamity of errors, absolutely.

McNair once again though, can’t / won’t put in a tackle. It’s not the first time this season either. He should have just wiped the whole lot out when he sensed the danger. Instead he reverted to his usual approach of fannying out of a challenge.
 
Can’t see how some are saying we were the better team first half - we’re 1-0 down had no chances on target and our keeper has been our best player!

We weren’t second best though, yes we are losing one nil, but it’s been fairly even. Either brilliant or woeful according to some on here, in reality somewhere in between!
 
I said after Friday that the wheels were starting to come off and took absolutely no joy in that. I got pelters on here but the fact of the matter is that we’ve been poor the last couple of games and we need a response and quick! We aren’t playing with the same confidence and belief that we were before the international break.
