If I was offered 5-10x my salary then I’d be on the next flight.
Whether I earned £10 or £100,000 a week.
It is about 3.5x (on a reported £190k at Liverpool & £700k in Saudi, although Henderson has dismissed the reports that he's on £700k, so maybe not even 3.5x) and it is the fact that he used his prominent role to campaign for something and then went to a country that is diametrically opposed to his previous campaigning.
So it would be like you spending your adult life saying to your friends and family how the Conservatives are ruining the country and then they offer you 3.5x your current salary to help them get elected and so you join them.
When questioned by your friends & family about this apparent hypocrisy you say "my values don’t change because I’m going to a different party where the morality of the party might be different. Now, I see that as a positive thing. I see that because, from their [the Conservative] side, they knew that before employing me. So they knew what my beliefs were. They knew what causes and campaigns I’ve done in the past and not once was it brought up. I think that’s positive. That’s the way you try to create positive change."
When asked if you would still support humanitarian causes, Quicksilvera said: “I wouldn’t rule that out. But at the same time, what I wouldn’t do is disrespect the morality and culture in the Conservative Party. By doing something like that, if that did disrespect the party, then no, I’m not going to do that. But if the opportunity comes where I can do it and it doesn’t, then yeah, because that’s my values. #stoptheboats”
