The booing of Jordan Henderson

Tegardless of booing, he should be nowhere near the squad now. He is pasy his best and not good enough to push england to the next level in future tournaments

Taking all the moral arguments out of the equation He still shouldn't be playing for England because hes not playing football at a competitive standard the saudi league is like a pub league

Nobody would be complaining if Henderson had moved to Norway, bar for the standard of football there.

Nobody was booing Henderson because of oil consumption.

We are part of a global demand for oil. We don't get our energy from Russia but we are still hugely impacted by the war in Ukraine because other countries are supplied by them. By using oil you are not only enabling these countries but killing the planet. Which is far worse than anything Henderson does.

As for the other points you've made they are nonsense.

My only points were that we're not driving around in cars fueled with petrol from Saudi Arabia, and that people were not booing Jordan Henderson over oil.

Neither of which are nonsense.

If Saudi Arabia was a lovely equal country without any human rights issues, but was still trying to buy its way on to the big table of football, I'm certain that there would still be plenty of complaints about greed and the standard of football, Henderson might well still have been booed by some, but for many it's because of just what Saudi Arabia represents that's the issue with Henderson's move there and his continued selection for England.

Absolutely. And I think they are collosal hypocrites for it.
It's like folk who subscribe to sky TV and complain about the fixtures being moved.
If you've cycled to the match fair enough boo away. They are a religious country and religion is the bedrock of bigotry.
But if you are contributing to the global demand for oil you are paying Henderson. The Saudis are just the middlemen.
