The booing of Jordan Henderson

And doubly an idiot.
Not only for supporting Henderson but for playing him.
Getting vilified for his stupid comments, and rightly so.
Well imagine being an idiot yet still being at worst the second most successful England manager ever. At worst.

He’s a superb man manager a good tactician and an excellent international manager. The day a manager panders to the media with his selections he’s done

I’m sure there are mixed feelings on whether it’s right
But
For Southgate to say it ’defies logic’ shows a remarkable lack of awareness and/or stupidity.
It’s pretty easy to understand if you try.
I dont understand it. People didn't want him to play when we had a serious lack of leadership in the team and he offered it. Last night was an inexperienced team so he put one of his most experienced and best leaders in. So my understanding is that English people are thick as fu ck and are too easily influenced by the media. See also Harry Maguire. Is that it?

I think you are answering a different question?
I have no opinion on him playing or not.

My discussion was on Southgate’s laughable comment that the booing defies logic.

You do understand it, you just don't have an issue with what many do.

The booing and objections to the House of Saud is quite ironic in my opinion. Saudi money has been washing through Britain since the 70’s.

British banks created the petrodollar and oil money has bought vast amounts of assets in Britain for 40 years. The British government sells billions in weapons to the Saudi Military and British military train their military. Plenty of British people earn money in Saudi Arabia too.

Jordan Henderson is not doing anything different to the British state. It’s an uncomfortable truth.
Aye cause people being participatory parts of the society they were born, raised and live within is the same as an already insanely wealthy individual taking a large sum of money from the very same people who are financially impacting said country.

Lying to people is not a sign of good leadership. Quite the opposite. Outside of the LGBT community I think a lot of the public annoyance at Henderson is the sh1te he came out with saying it was for football reasons. Thinking the public were that stupid they’d believe it. His attempts to gaslight failed and he has shown himself to be a mercenary with no morals.

That interview defied belief didn’t it.

Not sure what you’re saying here. Did you miss the part about normal Brits living and working in Saudi? I know a few who work there for example. Are those lads also bad?

Hes compounded it further by publicly backing the saudi world cup bid. I really hope the stench of blood money stays with him the rest of his days and people give him stick for years to come when he returns to the uk.

Unlike most Hes financially secure he could affoard to turn it down.

Henderson is a better player than people give him credit for.

But he should never be starting and captaining and England team after moving to Saudi.

Especially when we have players like James Ward-Prowse who’s not even getting a call up.

But you could also argue that is it right if a manager picks players out of form just to prove a point as well.
Another England win, another series of posts by the usual suspects slating Southgate. Nothing changes, England fans are abysmal. These guys are just praying for a defeat to back up their prejudices, but still can't contain themselves if we win.

What a ridiculous comment

If I was offered 5-10x my salary then I’d be on the next flight.

Whether I earned £10 or £100,000 a week.
It is about 3.5x (on a reported £190k at Liverpool & £700k in Saudi, although Henderson has dismissed the reports that he's on £700k, so maybe not even 3.5x) and it is the fact that he used his prominent role to campaign for something and then went to a country that is diametrically opposed to his previous campaigning.

So it would be like you spending your adult life saying to your friends and family how the Conservatives are ruining the country and then they offer you 3.5x your current salary to help them get elected and so you join them.

When questioned by your friends & family about this apparent hypocrisy you say "my values don’t change because I’m going to a different party where the morality of the party might be different. Now, I see that as a positive thing. I see that because, from their [the Conservative] side, they knew that before employing me. So they knew what my beliefs were. They knew what causes and campaigns I’ve done in the past and not once was it brought up. I think that’s positive. That’s the way you try to create positive change."

When asked if you would still support humanitarian causes, Quicksilvera said: “I wouldn’t rule that out. But at the same time, what I wouldn’t do is disrespect the morality and culture in the Conservative Party. By doing something like that, if that did disrespect the party, then no, I’m not going to do that. But if the opportunity comes where I can do it and it doesn’t, then yeah, because that’s my values. #stoptheboats”
