I see in todays, mail, metro, telegraph, sun and independent the government has paid for stories telling everyone how great Brexit is going. How is this crap even allowed?

Unfortunately, this is the world we are living in. Very Orwellian.
Disinformation is everywhere, especially from places we should be able to trust ie HM Government.
All they are interested in is positive public perception and getting elected and/or re-elected. Its not about doing the right thing for the country.

That's the weird thing isn't it? We'd look down on these types of countries as uncivilised and probably backwards. It's worrying how much we are doing it here.We would laugh at other countries who try to brainwash their own people with such obvious propaganda.
This country is doomed until we redesign the system.
FPTP isnt fit for purpose one only serves to polarise opinion, we need more corporation and more from the middle ground.
The far left or far right doesnt make sense.
Paying for propaganda needs to be banned, we also need to ban any outside interference in politics. MPs shouldnt be allowed to have outside interests that can effect their judgements.

Not really, they're telling how good the vaccines are going & that we can see light at the end of the tunnel, are we not to believe that either

Two different issues. Also, the government is reporting facts on the vaccine rollout. The government IS PAYING to take out ads to lie to us about Brexit.
It's a simple and clear case of propaganda. Also, in case you hadn't worked it out, if the government is paying to spread lies, it is paying with our taxes.
So, essentially we are paying for the government to tell us lies. People should be very, very angry about this.

Add in the power to block and change laws based purely on which vagina you fell from (a royal one or a hereditary peer), tax avoidance to maintain the status quo, lack of clarity on political financing, and a media that is bought and paid for, nothing more than PR for whichever party pays for them.

You're missing the point. You (and all us tax payers) are paying, for the government to take out an ad and lie to us. Are you happy with that? Paying for being lied to?

You do seem to be missing the point. I'll try and change the question. Do you think it's acceptable for the government to use our own money for it to advertise things to us? Do you not think it's suspicious that it has to pay to do this?
You mentioned the vaccine rollout. That's a good example. It hasn't paid to take put adverts to say this is going well. Its just reported the facts. Can you not see the difference here? Even if you belive the propaganda which I assume you do because you're that type of person.

You get the choice there. These are our taxes being used to spread lies. I'm genuinely sick of this country the fact such things can happen. The majority allow this corruption and deceit. Some, like erimus actually defend the corruption and deceit. Which honestly blows my mind.

Because you know you're in the wrong? Or else you'd be able to answer my questions? You know it's dishonest. You know it's the actions of a deceitful, autocratic and corrupt government. Its scary that people like you exist. You wanted so badly to be right about brexit you allow the government to do all this in it's name. Yet you can't defend it one bit. That's staggering to me. You belive so much in something that you defend it blindly. Even when people point out the problems you simply ignore them.

No, there's no evidence of it yet. The rates are coming down due to closures and restrictions, as happened last year. We will find out later how successful the vaccine has been when offices, schools and hospitality is in full swing.
