That’s fair enough. It’s not how I operate though. I get frustrated with people being wilfully ignorant. It upsets me that people can’t admit to errors. People who blindly carry on down a path and just ignore common sense and facts deserve a bit of a rocket.

You don't have to operate that way you choose to, you can operate differently, sometimes you have to lose a few battles to win the war.

In every walk of life people follow things with a passion which you could argue are in blind faith and littered with errors like religion and following the Boro to name a couple!

Common sense is in the eye of the beholder.

I admire your passion and get your frustrations it stands out but I don't think personal attacks are helpful, justified, appropriate or help the cause.

I didn’t say I had to operate like that I said I do. I have no time for people who are deliberately ignorant. You won’t be able to change me on that.

I wasn't trying to change anyone, just offering you some of my reflections and observations for what it's worth, it's up to to you what you do with them.

Trump has certainly mastered that with freightening consequences and with much more to come, add in social media and the world feels like it's becoming a much more dangerous place.

Yes, we've had one going on for decades about the economy in this country, repeated in the run up to each election. It works. The inability to look at history, even covering a few decades, is beyond most. The nonsense is soaked up then spat back out on message boards.

That reminds me, I haven't seen Cooper around for a few days.

I know, it's disgraceful. I mean when you take into account that any representative body will have its share of CoE members, then giving them an extra 26 is undemocratic, and there is nothing but historical precedent to explain how we got here.
 
Getting back to the original thread, it’s a shameful waste of public money.

Sadly a good % of the general public don't give a hoot, they got "brexit done " and for many that's all that mattered

A tranche of leaked files shows that the Foreign & Commonwealth Office (FCO) is coordinating multi-agency propaganda programmes. These files show that the programmes mainly target the authoritarian regimes in Russia and Syria. This is not unexpected. More significantly, perhaps, documents also show that these programmes are not confined to just foreign targets.

Why can't you understand that not everybody has your points of view - your constant carping has never once made me question my decision to vote leave - plus I resent your cheap comment that brexiteers are selfish and ignorant - you don't know the first thing about them except that they didn't vote the way you did .

You've got me wrong man. I'm not a bully. The way I see it the country I used to love has been taken away from me by a cabal of narrow minded bigots. I'm incredibly angry about this. So people who blinfly defend brexit yet can't explain why aren't exactly going to get a polite response from me
