You can't be bothered because you are talking about something you clearly know nothing about. I worked for the BMA for 5 years. Their primary remit is to defend the pay and conditions of public health doctors. Secondly it is to promote public health as a speciality with a non medical route of entry. Finally it is to promote diversity in public health.
Members can and do publish opinion both medical and non medical. They are not the views of the organisation because they can't be. They are representatives of a profession they do not speak for them on medical matters. That's a fact, not my opinion.
