IS COVID OVER

I can understand the need for not relaxing restrictions further, at least temporarily, but going back into full lockdown, after 55m vaccination doses have been delivered (and still rising), makes the whole vaccination programme seem a lot of effort/cost for not a lot of gain.

Surely we need to find out whether the vaccine is actually effective in reducing deaths/hospitalisations. If we never come out of lockdown we’ll never know, and by the time the next “variant” comes along we’ll all be due a new jab anyway.

The government are playing the game of getting the vaccinated and unvaccinated to blame one another.

It's obvious to anybody with eyes and ears that work.
