Sky Sports + Announced

They are, and they're not longer providing it domestically, but it's still available for overseas viewers as normal.

You've been watching most of them "abroad" anyway if you were watching every single match.
Yes there are many countries I have visited abroad while watching the game even the dark counties

Albania has become a favourite of mine in the past year. I do think with more games on sky and less games not on tv the club will lose ifollow revenue

I think the EFL have massively underestimated how much the ‘ritual’ plays a part in fans attending in the stadium - I’d be willing to bet attendances will start to dip a bit in the next few years.

As for sky, fair play that they now become more of a prospect for some fans who will have much more reason to subscribe now. Quite telling that it’s not a package available on its own, ie they say it’s included but will undoubtedly hike the prices up.

Three championship games on at 12:30 every Saturday up against TNT’s Liverpool game.

Some very low viewing figures and some terrible attendance at the games themselves.
Totally crap idea
Then the high noon Sunday graveyard shift.

Clubs have agreed to this as the TV revenue will double. What will clubs do with this bonus? Lower ticket prices?

I suspect it will just reduce the amount of losses a club makes or will enable some additional spending.

The new deal is not great for fans attending games - totally agree.

However it will give EFL clubs more revenue and hopefully make clubs more financially viable or if not at least be able to attract higher quality players.

Sky will be able to better compete with the pirate broadcasters and thus reduce people cancelling Sky and buying a dodgy box/stick.

Giving more notice of televised games will help fans. One of the biggest problems for fans attending games from a distance is not knowing when a game is to be played until 4 weeks before.
