    Frido Master 5.

Yes I certainly do. Christmas present 1963 or 1964. Lasted ages, the real deal as far as plastic balls went. Right weight and feel of a ‘Casey’

    Watching Football In Your Time

Not as good. Players, Prima Donnas stealing a living (generalisation) governing bodies changing rules, poor officials. Sad really because playing surfaces are excellent, footwear and balls to suit.

Good memories, thanks. Wow, big Johns goal gets better every time I see it. Stepney looks a bit 'miffed'

    Big Game tonight.

I'm looking forward to it - just hopeful the right Boro turn up, start well, dare I say score first which will be a huge positive step and give the crowd some hope. C'Mon Boro

    Will you renew?

I'm really undecided. It's not that we'll miss out promotion, but I've forgotten the good feeling of going home after a good display. It's poor at the moment and I struggle to see what will kick start us into a good run. However the biggest factor is my disenchantment with football currently...

    Love this photograph

NC I was brought up in Grangetown as I’ve explained before, a few doors away from Rip and his family. Mick was more my age. I was in short trousers in fist year in secondary school. Never bothered me until the older girls started to take the xxxx! I begged my mother to get some long trousers. It...

    Carrick

Agree with everything said about the guy - not sure how much a part his coaching team in the success. It's work in progress and be happy missing out on promotion this season and make a huge push next season, if that suits the project.

Interchanging and pace of front four

Pre-Match I wasn't particularly hopeful of a win. Then I saw the team and again it didn't make me any more positive, but clearly because of players available MC had Silvera, Rogers, Greenwood and Jones across the front. As previous posters have pointed we made an established WBA formation look...

Carlton Morris - In your head Gesture to Mowatt

The ego's on some 'journeymen' players astounds me at times. It does what it's meant to do and winds folks up - me included I'm sad to say. I'm a big believer in 'what goes around, comes around' in the hope he falls flat on his ar5e one day. Probably get a penalty for that as well.

    Wolves penalty - embarrassing

It's a Red Card, and a penalty. However the reaction of the Wolves player sums up a lot of what is wrong in todays game. Like another poster as stated, I've played a lot of football over many years, and years ago your mates would be having a serious word for behaviour remotely close to that...

Did you used to have a rusty car?

My first car a 1972 Mini bought new. £760 with under seal. Sold it two years later as a rust bucket for £650 and bought a Datsun Cherry but had it Ziebarted body seal. Did the trick. Anyone remember them? Workshop in North Ormesby.

Was there ever a better header of the ball in a Boro shirt than this man?

I've followed the Boro since 1962 and I doubt whether this guy can be beaten. Possibly the closest would be Alan Peacock. Strangely both, and Archie Stephens were not particularly tall, but had amazing technique. A well documented destruction of QPR at Ayresome Park showed he was a much more...

    Football Yearbooks

I do. Particularly the Boro one in the 60's. Called a 'Handbook' but not sure. It had everything i it. Interestingly the 'retained list', ground staff - apprentices (me being one of them - 1968), mostly guys who never made it. Oh how I wish I could lay my hands on them now. I also recall the...
