18k jobs to the area as a direct result of Brexit...

Next time I think I'll put..

Utter devastation and feather in the cap for the anti Brexit brigade as over investment is brought to teesside that may reduce the people on benefits.

I'm sure it'd be taken in far better spirit.

Remember the 50 million pound chemical plant coming to the Boro, then there was one coming to Seal Sands, then it turned out there was only one 50 million quid not too. Then nothing ever materialised. I’m old enough to remember the TDC.

It’s already been said we’d become a centre for wind turbines, so makes sense it’s a turbine plant. I’ve been to the one in Hull and I can’t see how you would get to 18,000, not even if you were counting arms and legs.

It's a comparison of misplaced optimism.

You are deriding those who ask questions of an article with no details and is full of soundbites for apparently showing a lack of optimism.

I think, given your like of thought, you’re getting confused.
No one is complaining about jobs coming to Teesside. Everyone is complaining about you parroting the potential mistruth of a politician. Also you trying to falsely attribute it to Brexit. Those are the problems we have. I’m not the first to explain this to you but I imagine given your slow stubbornness I won’t be the last

I attributed it based on information in the article.

You don't want to believe it to be positive good news.

Well I do believe it to be positive good news.

In a time when everything is negative... Try to give being positive a go.
