19 Leicester Councilors Stood Down.

Why isn’t Starmer playing head tennis with Kevin Keegan? Or the modern day equivalent. Mikel Arteta. Why isn’t he playing head tennis with Mikel Arteta?

Because he is devoid of charisma, principle and soul. Maybe. Who knows. But weed stinks these days. Doesn’t it though. Proper keffs. To the point where Nigel and Joyce are at their wit’s end.

FFS.

This is stupid as well. You need new lines Andy. No matter whats being discussed you repeat the same few ideas. The pandemic and war in Ukraine = the party must get rid of the incumbent councillors in Leicester? Pull the other one. It's got nothing whatsoever to do with that.
It's not an idea, it's reality.

You keep mentioning pledges, banging the drum like the last 3 years have not happened, get with reality. The pledges were not a manifesto, the last manifesto lost. How many of Cobyn's manifesto promises (from tow elections) did he fulfill?

I'm not saying the pledges are not important, they are, but they've been moved down the pecking order. The Pandmic and War have have caused a massive economical problem, debt problem, cost of living problem etc. The Pandemic is largely over but the shockwaves are still massive, and there's a lot of rebuilding to do. The war might be in Ukraine, but when that destabilises world energy prices it becomes quite important, especially when the clown who started the fight controls a massive chunk of the worlds energy.

One of the Labour councillors was trying to get the mayors job, so they could abolish the mayors job, how professional does that look? Three were suspended for working with opposition parties.
Two defected to the tories. The whole council has been in-fighting, it's just not going to work, the whole thing sounds rotten and it needs to be cohesive. Some have defected to green, this is good thought, as it gives green a shout, and means labour can pull in the same direction.

I have no idea what has gone on in Leicester, but you can be sure something will have happened to cause concern. But equally if anyone thinks that Starmer gets involved in who is and who isn't standing in local council elections, really don't know how the party or indeed Starmer works.
As Im sure you`re aware - regional offices tend to do the dirty work. The buck stops at the top. (y)

Right-wing  That's the most laughable thing I'vevere heard, which is good going on here. I've been shooting down the right wing for as long as I can remember,

I'm left of centre, and voted for Corbyn twice, I don't know many right-wing doing that? I knew he would lose mind, but I didn't try and undermine his effort.

There's a racism problem all over the UK, which is largely age-related, that's going to take a long time to change. The racists have kids, and bring them up the wrong way etc.
A problem with racism is that nobody really admits to being a racist, most of them don't hold up a sign etc. They don't say things in public, with people they don't know, and those who are racist don't exactly advertise it in the workplace. Although saying that, I hear it out on site most weeks, so they're not that quiet.

It's mathematical. pure voter numbers, but not all votes are equal unfortunately, those in the middle who can, will and do switch sides control the outcome of the election. I don't like that it's this way, but that is the way it is.

20 councillors have been kicked, the majority of councillors were BAME, and a lot of BAME councillors and women will be replacing them. I would be amazed if the new council wasn't roughly a 50/50 split, like Leicester is 50/50 split with BAME and White.

The party needs people who largely align with the leadership of the party, this is priority number 1. Then surely you should want the best people for the job, regardless of sex and ethnicity?
In that case - explain what is happening in a solid Labour City when the Regional Office - taking its orders from Millbank to wreck it. The Labour Party is not Sir Kier Starmer`s Party. If he were Joseph Stalin in the Soviet Union in the 1930`s and 40`s then maybe......

When the "Leader" of the Labour Party lies as much to party members and the country as Johnson did to Parliament, he is equally a deceitful and dangerous liar.

I defend the right to the poster to ask the question - its doesnt mean Im infereing you are a racist. Its called democracy.
So exiled accuses me of being a racist and you liked his post? Come on fella we've had our disagreements but I can't believe you'd even consider that of me.

You keep mentioning pledges

:ROFLMAO: I say you need new lines because you churn out the same unthinking comments no matter whats being discussed. You respond by telling me I keep mentioning pledges in a thread where I haven't mentioned pledges. Cheers Andy.(y) Proves the point better than anything I could have said would.

Thats not how I read his question.
And I`ve already said above [I repeat] "it doesnt mean Im infereing you are a racist". We will leave it there.
