A sensible Brexit idea

I started the thread with in my opinion a good bit of pro EU thought by Macron, a guy who gets belters. It was a good starting point.

It was obviously not far enough.

One day you will realise that the UK electorate did not want what you wanted.

One day you will realise that the UK electorate did not want what you wanted.
One day they will realise that they did, but didn’t vote for it.

I say one day, already have many of them. It’s been a consistent majority for four years.

What you’ll then do is try to understand why you were so mistaken. Most of you haven’t given that any thought. It’s uncomfortable, cognitive dissonance.

When I think of the EU I dont think of it as an It.

You talk about Hungary as a thing. When I think of Hungary, I think of my friend and colleague, Kata.

When you talk about Greece, I think of my friend Olga and her sister who came to this country 12 years ago and have built successful careers and have British partners.

Again, they had to apply to stay in their own homes. My friend Thibaut and his partner moved to Germany as they thought it demeaning.

This nonsense about other countries joining is just diversionary nonsense. Turkey is nowhere near joining and they're probably the closest outside of the EFTA countries.

When any of us vote, I'm sure we take into account a lot of factors, including who else we might be getting into bed with politically. You've used Hungary as an example a lot, by which I'm sure you mean their current leadership. They would've endorsed your vote.
