Ajax line up announced

The director of football who signed him has been sacked recently, he’d fallen out with the Manager and fans have blamed him for poor signings. So from that it seems both fans and Manager have already written him off there.

It doesn’t look to promising does it. When you are left out of THE game if the season do at home is not a good sign.

5 year contract. If they dont want him they'll have to pay him off. He'll be crying all the way to the bank.
I think he'd rather be playing after the way he blossomed last season.
It's easy to reduce things to money, but Akpom has had a very stop start career until he showed just how good he is last year. All that will be for nothing if this move goes wrong, especially if it's not his fault.

5 year deal and probably doubled his money. You can't knock the move to a big name European club.

I'm sure he will get a run in the side at some point. I'm not convinced he will get remotely the amount of goals he scored last season. I doubt he would have with us.

A once in a lifetime season. I think his previous best was 6-7? I still think it's cracking money for a year left. Also a great move for him. Win win.

Its early days but he needs to grab his chance when he gets it otherwise at a club that big he'll be down the pecking order. As a collective theyve started badly, so that wont be helping

I'm sure he would, but he won't mind spending a season on Ajax bench before moving on with a bucket full of cash. Like anyone in any career, most professional footballers will put money first.

If it hadn't of been about money he would still be here. That's from the clubs and Akpoms sides.
